  • When you find the desired software, tap on it to show the options. Tap on the "More Info" to see further information related to that installed application.
  • Tap the cursor the Remove option.

In case you have Fedora Linux installed on your desktop:

  • Tap over the Applications option, then on the System Tools.
  • After that, you have to select the Terminal to launch the command line.
  • Enter the text “remove the application.”

(Tip: In case you are not sure for the real name of installation you want to execute, you can find your installed repositories for a keyword: su -c ‘yum search keyword

Here the keyword refers to a simple word you wanted to find among the names and descriptions of applications in the existing repositories.)

When you use the yum remove command, you will get the on-screen instructions and queries for the computer's root password—Enter the root password and tap the Enter key for a moment. You will be unable to see the password when you type it. The terminal will begin to offer you details related to the apps and finish with this is ok (Yes or No):. In case of the conditions in which the installed application is running, you will use the on-screen instructions to remove it.

In case you would continue with the removal process for the installed application, Enter: yes.
